Description: Please Read If Attending
The Miller Creek Labyrinth is on private land and normally used for meditation retreats, but moving forward once a month, year round, this beautiful labyrinth will be open to the public.
This is a meditative experience. Anyone is welcome to come to walk the labyrinth in the spirit of this quiet experience. Silence within the labyrinth, and kind consideration for others’ experience, is requested.
During the first ½ hour of each monthly session, there will be a guided Mindfulness meditation offered outside the labyrinth for those interested in this monthly community practice. This meditation will lean into the practice of using nature to practice mindfulness. Christine Lustik will be guiding the meditation, more about her below.
Please visit Christine’s website for directions and labyrinth protocols.
Heads Up:
- It is possible to walk the labyrinth all winter, but if the weather is dangerous, hours may be canceled. Also, parking will vary depending on the weather. Please check www.mindfulnessinorganizations.com or follow @effortsatbeingpresent on Instagram for any updates the day of if weather is iffy.
- The ground is rough and uneven. Please wear appropriate shoes to be safe. Walking sticks will also be available.
Meditation guide: Christine Lustik has 2 Mindfulness teacher training certifications through Mindfulness Training Institute and Awake in the Wild. She has been teaching meditation and mindfulness within organizations, the community, and outside in nature since 2013.
Upcoming dates available on Christine’s website.
