Description

Qigong (pronounced “chee-gong”) is a gentle mind-body-spirit practice that integrates slow movement, breath, and intention to cultivate and harmonize the body’s vital energy (Qi). Rooted in ancient Chinese traditions and part of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Qigong supports healing, vitality, and emotional balance. This class focuses on Medical Qigong and the Taoist Five Element Series, which balances the energy of the five yin organs through movement, breath, and awareness.

Please bring water. Mats are available in the practice space but please feel free to bring your own.

Please note- shoes that have been worn outside are not allowed in the practice space! The practice is generally done barefooted or in socks. Tai Chi slippers that have not been outdoors also work well.

No prior Qigong experience necessary.
